Bill Hearings Take Center Stage

Before the bill filing deadlines passed, hundreds more bills were filed, including most of UULM-MD's priorities. Now, all of the action will be in committees, as each bill gets a hearing, followed by votes to see which ones will be sent on to the full House and Senate floors for consideration. To see which hearings are coming up this week, see our Look Ahead. Watch for alerts from our Task Forces for each issue about any bills that have had hearings and need people to contact their lawmakers before committee votes are held.
