Easy Enrollment Program Kicked Off with ads by Oriole Legend, Eddie Murray
Updated: Feb 21
Today, Maryland's unique Easy Enrollment Program kicked off aimed at signing more people up for health insurance through the Maryland Health Exchange when they file their state income tax forms. Oriole Hall of Famer, Eddie Murray, seen above with Comptroller Peter Franchot, is lending his celebrity to the effort by making radio and online ads encouraging more uninsured Marylanders to participate. At today's press conference, many of those who contributed to passing the law and implementing it were recongized, including Speaker Adirenne Jones, Comptroller Franchot, and representatives of multiple advocacy groups, including UULM-MD. Vinnie DeMarco of Maryland Health Care for All called us out as important contributors, and I was honored to represent us.
