Governor's 2020 Vetoes Overridden

In the past week, the Maryland General Assembly voted to override the vetoes of the following bills passed in 2020 that UULM-MD considered priority measures. Thanks to all of our members who responded to our calls for action and contacted their Senators and Delegates to support the vetoes! Please contact your lawmakers again and thank those who voted to override.
HB 1095 / SB 669 - Funding for the Prescription Drug Affordability Board - House vote / Senate Vote
HB 4 / SB 208 - Background Checks for Rifles and Shotguns - House Vote / Senate Vote
HB 1300 - Funding for the Kirwan Commission Educational Reforms - House Vote / Senate Vote
SB 684 - Establishment of the first Pre-Release Unit for Incarcerated Women - Senate Vote / House Vote
