Important Voting Info and Dates for Maryland

There are less than three weeks until the election. Here are the important dates:


Deadline to register ahead of in-person voting has passed, so anyone NOT registered can only vote by showing up in person during early voting or on Election Day to register AND vote.


Deadline to request a mail-in ballot - October 20

Early voting at designated sites: October 26 through November 2

Presidential General Election - November 3

Deadline to mail (get postmarked) or drop off mail-in ballots - 8:00 pm – November 3

Make sure your vote is counted - check the status of your registration, your application for mail-in ballot or your completed ballot: https://voterservices.elections.maryland.gov/VoterSearch
