Important Voting Info and Dates for Maryland
There are less than three weeks until the election. Here are the important dates:
Deadline to register ahead of in-person voting has passed, so anyone NOT registered can only vote by showing up in person during early voting or on Election Day to register AND vote.
Deadline to request a mail-in ballot - October 20
You must already be registered in order to request a mail-in ballot

Early voting at designated sites: October 26 through November 2
In-person voting: 7:00 am - 8:00 pm

Presidential General Election - November 3
In-person voting at any designated site in your county: 7:00 am - 8:00 pm

Deadline to mail (get postmarked) or drop off mail-in ballots - 8:00 pm – November 3
For USPS: allow at least 5 days for mail to reach the board of elections
Ballots postmarked by November 3 will be accepted and counted if received by your local board of elections by 10 am on November 13
