Immigration: Write Your Lawmaker and ask them to Vote No on HB 85.

If your state delegate is on the Judiciary Committee, please use this button below to contact your state delegate and ask them to vote against HB 85 which would end certain sanctuary policies and require state participation in the enforcement of federal immigration laws, undoing years of positive immigration legislation that has helped our immigrant neighbors.

Over the past seven years, the Maryland General Assembly has successfully enacted laws that protect our immigrant neighbors. From the Dream Act, MVA Confidentiality, Protection for Witnesses via the U-Visa, Probation Before Judgement, Dignity Not Detention, and the Access to Care Act, these laws have made Maryland safer and healthier not just for our immigrant residents, but for all Marylanders. HB 85 would weaken these laws and make Maryland less safe for all.

HB 85 would weaken these laws and make Maryland less safe for all.

Please write your lawmakers today.

Immigration Lead Advocate,

Jim Caldiero
